Product owner is an important role in an Scrum Team. A product owner provides clarity to the team about a product’s vision and goal and decides what the team will create next in order to deliver value to all stakeholders throughout the entire product’s life-cycle. The Product Owner is responsible for ensuring clear communication of product or service requirements to the Scrum Team, defining Acceptance Criteria, and ensuring those criteria are met.

Scrum Product Owner Certified (SPOC™), 2-days training program helps participants to learn and build good understanding about Scrum Framework and Principles, Scrum Product Owner’s core competencies (for examples managing products with purpose and strategy, managing multiple stakeholders’ needs and expectations, validating assumptions, prioritizing the Product Backlog), and set of tools and techniques required to play this role effectively.

ATTENDEES WILL LEARN:

  1. Demonstrate sound understanding of the all key aspects of the Scrum Product Owner role.
  2. Have a clear understanding of concepts, advantages, and challenges of the Scrum methodology.
  3. Understand the importance of identifying critical project stakeholders and managing them within the context of Scrum framework.

  5. Recognize traits that are strongly linked to effective engagement and communication in a multi-Scrum Teams environment.
